every student of class 12th wants to get admission into iitjee and each year only about 10000 students gets admission into iitjee and since this year the pattern of iit exam is changed, students needs to get introduced with the new pattern of iitjee. this year the department is conducting a combined entrance exam test to get admission into engineering institutes. the test is conducted into two phase one iitmain and other iit advance .iitmains will be conducted by cbse while iit advance is conducted by iit.also in order to reduce the pressure 40 percentage weightage is given to 12th board marks. from iitmains exam 150000 students will be selected and they will appear in iit advance. one who will qualify iit avance exam will get admission into iit and the one who had not passed iit advance will get admission into different engineering college according to their rank in iitmains. the form of iitmains2013 is out.one can fill that form online on iitmain.nic in .the last date of filling the form is 15 december 2013.
